Project Manager Officer (IT)

The company is in a period of rapid growth and is actively expanding its IT function, which plays a key role in supporting business operations and improving efficiency across the organisation.

About the role:

The IT PMO will act as a central coordination point for all IT projects within the global organisation, working closely with project managers and reporting directly to the CIO. You will ensure alignment with business priorities, monitor progress, and provide clear visibility on timelines, budgets, risks, and overall delivery, with the goal of driving efficiency and improving how the IT function operates and delivers.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the IT Project Portfolio aligned with company strategy
• Develop and maintain PMO methodologies, templates, and reporting tools.
• Coordinate project prioritization with management and business stakeholders.
• Track budgets, timelines, and deliverables across all IT projects actively following up on tasks and identifying bottlenecks, workload issues, and resource gaps.
• Facilitate regular project reviews and executive reporting.
• Support project managers in adopting best practices and governance standards.
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, and overall portfolio health

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in PMO, project portfolio management, or IT governance roles
• Experience working with project management tools (Jira / Monday) including building and reading Gantt charts
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification – Advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Experience in a multi-site, global organization is a significant advantage.
• Professional level English, spoken and written – required
