Director of Finance

We’re a remote-first company with no physical office, and this role is fully remote.

We’re looking for a hands-on Director of Finance to build and lead our finance function from the ground up. This is a high-impact role designed for someone who thrives in an async environment, takes high ownership, and proactively drives work forward without waiting for direction. You’ll own day-to-day financial operations while building scalable processes and automations, and partner closely with leadership on strategic decisions, reporting, and investor relations.

🚀 What you’ll do

• Build and scale the company’s finance function, systems, and processes from scratch
• Own day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable (end-to-end)
• Prepare and analyze financial statements across US and Israeli entities
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close
• Lead tax filings and compliance in both the US and Israel
• Support fundraising efforts, due diligence processes, and investor reporting
• Own and manage the company’s cap table and equity plans (including stock grants, trustee reporting, and documentation)
• Establish and track company KPIs, providing insights to support strategic decision-making
• Partner with leadership to drive financial planning, forecasting, and business performance
  
  

• 6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles (startup experience is a must)
• Strong knowledge of US and Israeli tax filing and reporting requirements
• Experience managing cap tables and equity plans
• Proven ability to build financial processes and systems in a fast-growing environment
• Hands-on approach with the ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
• Strong written and asynchronous communication skills, with experience collaborating effectively in distributed teams (e.g., Slack, documentation, and structured updates)
• Comfortable using modern AI tools to improve workflows, or the ability to quickly learn and adopt them
  
  

• Background or degree in law
• Familiarity with financial tools and systems commonly used in high-growth tech companies
