A government organization in Jerusalem is looking for an experienced DBA to join a professional team responsible for managing and optimizing large-scale production database environments. The role includes database design, maintenance, performance tuning, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring high availability of critical systems.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a DBA
• Experience with Oracle DB and/or Oracle Cluster in large production environments
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Shell / Python)
• Strong expertise in system-level Performance Tuning
• High-level proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience working with large and complex databases
• Experience developing and maintaining Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers
• Advantage: Data Modeling and DWH / Data Vault 2.0 knowledge
• Advantage: experience with ETL processes and integration tools (Informatica is a plus)
• Advantage: familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or a 400+ hour Information Systems course
