Cyber Security and Networking Specialist

The Cyber Security and Networking Specialist will be responsible for the methodical implementation of our corporate security guidelines and day-to-day health of our network infrastructure and.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Compliance: Lead the practical application of company cyber security policies, ensuring all systems align with our internal risk management standards.
• Network Administration: Oversee the configuration, installation, and maintenance of all network components.
• Network Maintenance: Perform regular firmware updates, patch management, and hardware assessments to prevent obsolescence and vulnerabilities.
• Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor security logs and network traffic to ensure high uptime and rapid incident resolution.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a dedicated network administration or information security role.
• Security Tools: Direct experience managing Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), EDR solutions, and access control lists (ACLs).
• Networking Core: Strong proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, VPN protocols, and SD-WAN environments.
• Protocol Knowledge: Familiarity with implementing security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001.
• Working environment: Managing the security of Hybrid environment including Windows, Mac and Linux end-clients.
• Security and Network Stack: Experience managing FortiGate Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW). Familiarity with FortiClient, FortiManager, or FortiAP. Familiarity with Cisco and Dell switches is a significant plus.
