ILS Officer – Proposal Support in Maintainability, Reliability, and System Life

About the Role:

In this position, you will join the proposal support team and be responsible for analyzing ILS requirements and producing logistical and engineering deliverables that support company proposals. The role requires expertise in maintainability, reliability, and system life, with a focus on delivering professional and accurate responses to client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze ILS requirements from RFP documents and define tailored logistical responses.
• Develop responses for maintenance concepts and system life responsibilities.
• Perform availability, maintainability, and life cycle cost (LCC) calculations.
• Prepare ILS documentation: maintenance plans, LORA analysis, spare parts policy.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, procurement, and project management teams.
• Support the presentation of logistical and maintenance solutions to clients.

Required Professional Expertise:

• Maintainability: Assess system maintainability, including repair times, component accessibility, planning of preventive and corrective maintenance actions, and defining maintenance levels according to tender requirements.
• Reliability: Perform MTBF calculations, analyze potential failures (FMECA), generate reliability reports, and provide design improvement recommendations.
• Spare Parts and Inventory Management: Define inventory management policies, plan required spare parts lists, calculate optimal quantities, and ensure operational availability throughout the system lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in proposal support in ILS, with a focus on maintainability and reliability.
• Relevant academic degree: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering & Management, Systems Engineering, or a similar engineering/system field.
• Proficiency in ILS tools and strong technical writing skills.
• High proficiency in Hebrew and English (written and spoken).
