Embedded c++ Team Lead (Automotive)

We’re looking for a hands-on Embedded Team Lead to drive both the technical direction and team execution. This is a key role combining leadership with deep involvement in development and system architecture.

What you’ll do

• Lead, mentor, and grow an embedded software team
• Define and own system architecture for complex real-time embedded systems
• Drive development best practices, code quality, and engineering standards
• Take ownership of delivery, planning, and execution (Agile / Scrum)
• Stay hands-on (~50%) with development in C/C++
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cutting-edge automotive products

Requirements

Must have:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience in real-time embedded systems development
• 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams
• Strong experience in system architecture and design
• Proven experience working in Agile environments
• Strong C / C++ programming skills
• Experience delivering projects end-to-end
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with STM32 microcontrollers
• Familiarity with communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN
• Experience with RTOS
• Background in automotive systems
• Experience with IoT technologies (Bluetooth, Cellular, Wi-Fi)
• Electronics knowledge
• Experience with modern development approaches (including AI-assisted coding)
