Assistant Controller - Financial Services Company

A well-established and highly reputable financial services company is seeking a talented Assistant Controller to join its growing finance team.

This position offers broad exposure to core financial processes, working closely with senior leadership and playing an integral part in financial reporting, analysis, and business decision-making. You will report directly to the VP Finance and collaborate with the accounting team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements
• Produce ongoing management reports and financial analyses
• Support budgeting and monitor company performance against targets
• Oversee accounting processes and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting
• Work closely with external auditors
• Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and supplier payments
• Conduct financial and business analyses to support decision-making

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience as an Assistant Controller - strong advantage
• Proven experience in preparing financial statements - required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or CPA - advantage
• Experience working closely with accounting teams and financial controls
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Hashavshevet, Conto) - advantage
• Background in financial services or insurance - advantage
