Chief Financial Officer

A growing financial services company operating in a regulated environment is looking for a hands-on, business-driven CFO to join its leadership team.

The company is relatively small and in a significant growth phase, offering a rare opportunity to join early and play a key role in building and scaling the business.

This is not a traditional CFO role.

We are looking for a highly dynamic and entrepreneurial finance leader - someone who combines strong financial expertise with real business thinking, and the ability to turn ideas into execution.

The role includes close partnership with the CEO and strong involvement in shaping the company’s strategic direction, with a clear long-term growth path within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of all financial activities - reporting, budgeting, cash flow and control
• Building and leading the company’s financial strategy
• Acting as a strategic business partner to the CEO
• Working closely with financial regulators and ensuring full compliance
• Leading relationships with banks, financial institutions and external partners
• Building financial processes, policies and infrastructure from the ground up
• Supporting the company’s expansion into credit and financing activities
• Taking ownership beyond finance - including operational and organizational aspects
• Building and leading a financial and analytical team over time

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Netanya.

Requirements:

• Strong experience working in regulated financial environments - required for this role
• Background in credit / financing / payments - highly preferred
• Strong hands-on approach - both strategic and operational
• Proven experience working in regulated financial environments - highly preferred
• Strong business mindset with the ability to drive initiatives and execution
• Experience in small or growing companies - an advantage
• Relevant academic background (Accounting / Economics / Business)
• Legal background - an advantage
