Pre-Sales Data Engineer

We’re looking for a Pre-Sales Data Engineer to join S.P.DATA and lead the technical core of our sales processes. 🚀

In this role, you will be the technical authority in the sales cycle, bridging the gap between complex data challenges and strategic business solutions. You’ll work closely with account managers to tackle issues in data integration, quality, governance, and API connectivity, leveraging your technical expertise to drive meaningful sales impact.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and own the technical aspect of the sales process for cutting-edge data solutions.
• Design and execute POCs (Proof of Concepts) to demonstrate value and solve client-specific data challenges.
• Analyze client needs and architect technical solutions across data integration, API, and data governance.
• Present complex technical architectures and product capabilities to stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with internal interfaces and provide professional guidance throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer (looking to transition to Pre-Sales) OR prior experience in Data Pre-Sales – Must.
• Strong sales orientation and business acumen within the Israeli market.
• High proficiency in English (written and verbal) – Must.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills – ability to persuade and present to clients.
• Experience in leading POC processes – Advantage.
• Experience or familiarity with Talend solutions – Advantage.
• B.Sc. in a relevant field or relevant professional certification – Advantage.

דרישות התפקיד

• ניסיון של שנתיים לפחות כ-Data Engineer המעוניינים במעבר ל-Pre-Sales או ניסיון קודם ב-Pre-Sale דאטה (חובה).
• זיקה ואוריינטציה חזקה לעולם המכירות.
• כושר ורבלי גבוה, יכולת שכנוע והצגת פתרונות טכנולוגיים מול לקוחות.
• אנגלית ברמה גבוהה מאוד (קריאה וכתיבה).
• ניסיון בתהליכי POC – יתרון.
• היכרות עם פתרונות Talend – יתרון.
• תואר ראשון רלוונטי או הכשרה מקצועית רלוונטית – יתרון.
• יכולת הדרכה טובה ויחסי אנוש מצוינים.
