The Opportunity

Are you ready to build the engine for a product that developers genuinely love? This company is on a mission to bring observability closer to developers, and their Agent0 team is at the forefront of this, building an Agentic AI Platform for Observability. They’re looking for a Senior Product Engineer who can bridge the gap between complex AI workflows and rock-solid software engineering.

The Challenge You'll Tackle:

• Master the Runtime: You won't just be writing Node.js; you’ll actively work at the intersection of agentic frameworks, code sandboxes, and application frameworks.
• Enable AI Innovation: You will partner with AI engineers to optimize agentic workflows, providing the deep software engineering skills necessary to make their models performant and reliable in production.
• Architect for Security: Because the system executes unknown and potentially unsafe code, you will help evolve the strategy to ensure the system remains secure, efficient, and robust.
• Drive Reliability: You’ll co-own the stability of the platform, identifying technical risks early and ensuring monitoring and observability signals are world-class.

What Success Looks Like (and How You'll Get There):

• Within 1 week: You'll have shipped your first piece of production-ready code.
• Within 3 months: You’ll be the primary engineering partner for AI specialists, helping ship key features that enhance agentic capabilities.
• Within 6 months: You’ll have established new patterns for agentic services and be actively mentoring other engineers on distributed systems and async debugging.
• Within 12 months: You’ll be a technical authority for the backend, guiding the team through major scaling challenges and shaping the product roadmap based on technical feasibility.

We're looking for someone who:

• Is polyglot by necessity, with deep experience in Node.js and proficiency in Go.
• Has a strong interest in AI and is eager to experiment in a rapidly evolving space.
• Expertly leverages AI and agentic coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining high technical judgment.
• Values autonomy and communication, especially regarding documentation and knowledge sharing.
