DHL, a leading global logistics company, is looking for a Budget Control Economist / Financial Analyst to join our Finance team.

The department focuses on expense analysis, budget control, and managing complex financial processes in a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and reporting of financial data to the global parent company, including in-depth OPEX analysis and its impact on Profit & Loss statements (P&L).
• Professional leadership of monthly closing processes.
• Conducting financial feasibility analyses and participation in cross-functional projects.
• Preparation of management presentations and financial reports.
• Ongoing budget vs. actual expense control, variance analysis, and providing insights for cost optimization.
• Building forecasts and active participation in the annual budgeting process.
• Development, analysis, and monitoring of KPI’s.
• Advanced work with BI tools, including full specification and development of dashboards from scratch.

Position Details:

• Full-time position, Sunday–Thursday, 08:00–17:00
• Willingness to work additional hours when required
• Location: Airport City

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst / Economist in a Finance, Controlling, or Budget Control department.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a relevant field.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, Power Query, and Macros.
• Proven hands-on experience in OPEX analysis, P&L reports, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Practical, hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard specification and development from scratch.
• Prior experience with SAP / TM1 / Power BI – a significant advantage.
• Strong self-learning abilities and high technological orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork skills, professional leadership capabilities, and high interpersonal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
• High-level English, enabling day-to-day interaction with global stakeholders.
