Electrical Engineer

A leading global company is looking for a Project Support Engineer to join its Electrical & Control Systems engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Support projects and approve designs from Power & Systems teams

✔ Review wiring diagrams, control panels, and electrical & control systems

✔ Define engineering standards and write technical specifications

✔ Work closely with engineering design firms: coordination, review, approvals

✔ Lead maintenance plans and spare parts strategy

✔ Identify obsolete equipment and develop upgrade/replacement plans

✔ Support maintenance teams with complex troubleshooting

✔ Drive engineering thinking and cross‑functional processes

Requirements:

🔹 Practical Engineer / Technician in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation – must

🔹 B.Sc. in Electrical or Control Engineering – advantage

🔹 4–5 years of experience in electrical, control, and I&C systems

🔹 Experience in industrial/infrastructure environments

🔹 Hands‑on PLC experience (Siemens preferred)

🔹 Familiarity with SCADA (GE Simplicity – advantage)

🔹 Experience with preventive maintenance plans & calibration

🔹 Knowledge of ISA standards, control panels, control architecture

🔹 Strong troubleshooting skills & ability to work with multiple interfaces
