Chief Software Architect

We are seeking a senior, hands-on technological leader to drive the transformation of a long-standing, business-critical product into a modern, scalable, and advanced platform.

This role combines deep architectural ownership, leadership of legacy system modernization, and practical hands-on execution, with direct impact on product delivery velocity, business scalability, and company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the transformation of a business-critical product suite from legacy architecture to a modern, scalable, and advanced platform—while ensuring business continuity and accelerating delivery and development pace. This includes migrating legacy systems based on ASP / ASP.NET / VB6 to a modern Microsoft .NET environment (.NET 9) and React.
• Own the end-to-end architecture across ERP, POS, Mobile, and API products.
• Design and develop scalable architectures for multi-user, high-transaction systems.
• Improve performance and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments, including Stored Procedures, data design, and query tuning.
• Lead the decomposition of existing DLL components and conversion of legacy business logic into modern solutions.
• Establish advanced development methodologies, CI/CD processes, and engineering excellence standards.
• Integrate AI Agents and AI-powered tools to improve productivity, code generation, and SDLC efficiency (not the core responsibility, but a strong accelerator).
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to development teams.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 8+ years of software development experience in product-based organizations (preferably ERP environments).
• Proven background in On-Prem environments – mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience as an Architect / Principal Engineer / Senior Tech Lead.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft .NET / C# / Backend Architecture.
• Significant experience with modern Frontend technologies, with emphasis on React.
• Proven experience leading complex legacy modernization initiatives.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience building modern APIs and migrating legacy integrations (SOAP/XML → REST).
• Ability to remain hands-on while maintaining a broad architectural vision.

Significant Advantage:

• Experience with AI Coding Tools / AI Agents / Copilot / Cursor / SDLC Automation.
• Experience with ERP / Retail / POS products.
