Imperva’s Platform Engineering group is responsible for building the foundation and DevEx for the engineering teams which are building Imperva application security products and creating a unified.

We are looking for a top-tier DevOps manager to lead the platform engineering DevOps Group.

What you'll do:

• Own end-to-end delivery for the group, leading both technical execution and project management
• Drive Agile/SAFe methodologies to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
• Ensure alignment between team deliverables and overall architecture, promoting best practices and innovation
• Build and nurture a high-performing team through mentorship, coaching, and performance management
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to enhance performance, scalability, reliability, and deployment processes
• Lead the resolution of complex technical challenges across performance, scale, security, and production environments
• Partner with DevOps leaders and R&D leadership to improve system resilience, failover, and scalability
• Oversee system design, architecture, and delivery standards across the team
• Champion the integration of AI into DevOps and engineering workflows
  
  

• 10+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
• Proven ability to lead in a matrixed organization
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience handling complex technical challenges under pressure
• Demonstrated experience working in large-scale production environments
• Deep expertise in DevOps tools and practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Hands-on experience managing AWS-based infrastructure
• Familiarity with AI-driven tools such as Claude Code, N8N, Langsmith, and Bedrock
• Experience with on-prem environments (data centers, VMware) – advantage
• Programming and scripting experience (Python – advantage)
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic, and Coralogix
