About The Team

Our team is building the financial infrastructure that powers HoneyBook’s money movement - from checkout to payout. We focus on creating reliable, resilient, scalable, and observable systems that ensure money moves securely and efficiently across our platform.

What You’ll Do

As a Backend Engineer on the Financial Platform team, you will design and build the systems that power HoneyBook’s money movement.

You’ll work on highly reliable, resilient, and observable services that ensure funds are processed securely, accurately, and at scale. You will help shape the future of HoneyBook’s financial infrastructure, enabling and supporting financial products across the platform while collaborating closely with engineering, product, member experience, and operations.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Strong understanding of reliability, scalability, and system design.
• Test-oriented problem solver.
• Enthusiasm for working on critical infrastructure and serving product teams across the organization.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive projects end-to-end.
• Team player, strong communication skills, egoless, transparent and positive attitude.
• Ability to see the big picture: HoneyBook is on a mission to improve how independent businesses operate and grow.
