We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our onCourse team in Jerusalem. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career developer to grow professionally while working on a real, customer-facing AI‑native learning platform used by academic institutions worldwide.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers in a supportive, collaborative environment, gaining hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

It would be great if you also had…

Basic to hands-on experience developing in Java (academic, internship, or professional)
Experience or familiarity with Angular or modern frontend frameworks
Up to 2 years of professional experience, or strong academic background with practical projects
Understanding of SQL and relational databases
Understanding of AI technologies, with exposure through coursework, projects, or tools

What will you be doing in this role?

Participate in designing and implementing software solutions under the guidance of senior developers
Develop features across backend and frontend components
Assist with testing, bug fixing, performance improvements, and maintenance tasks
Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and Support teams to deliver high-quality features
Continuously learn best practices in software development, code quality, and system design

The product you will be developing

You will work on onCourse, Clarivate’s Learning Intelligence System (LIS) — an AI-native platform for managing academic courses. The platform enables smarter content creation, personalization, and actionable insights that improve teaching and learning outcomes for educators and students.

About The Team

The team consists of 7 team members.
Close collaboration with UX designers and Product Managers
