Linux Engineer

Calanit by ONE recruiting experts are hiring for a global technology company a Senior Linux Engineer to join a highly advanced infrastructure team operating large‑scale production and data center environments.

This opportunity is ideal for engineers with 5+ years of Linux experience who want to deepen their infrastructure skills and work close to the systems layer.

🔧 Responsibilities

• Hands‑on administration and operation of Linux systems in mission‑critical production environments
• End‑to‑end troubleshooting across OS, networking, virtualization and applications
• Design and implement automation using Bash and/or Python
• Work with configuration management and CI/CD tools
• (Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Operate virtualized environments: KVM / VMware / Hyper‑V
• Work with containers and Kubernetes in on‑prem / hybrid environments
• Manage core infrastructure services: DNS, DHCP, LDAP / Active Directory
• Monitor systems using tools such as Zabbix / Icinga
• Operate and support large‑scale Data Center infrastructures
• Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, DevOps and Operations teams globally

✅ Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of hands‑on Linux experience in production environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills and deep understanding of Linux internals
• Proven experience with automation and scripting (Bash / Python)
• Experience working with Ansible / Puppet / configuration management
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (L2/L3, TCP/IP)
• Experience with virtualization technologies
• Experience working with on‑prem / data center infrastructure – strong advantage
• High level of English (reading, writing and speaking)

This role is designed for experienced Linux engineers who want to work close to the infrastructure layer, in large‑scale production and data center environments — with DevOps tools as an enabler, not the focus.
