Application Engineer

With a growing product portfolio and customer base, we are looking for a talented and competent Applications Engineer who will thrive in a dynamic sales environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our sales team across Israel’s high-tech ecosystem to achieve ambitious revenue growth objectives. You should be self-motivated, possess strong interpersonal skills, and feel comfortable presenting and discussing technical solutions while working as part of a fast-paced sales tea

Your tasks

• The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support across the full sales cycle, both pre- and post-sales. They will cover the test and measurement product portfolio, including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power sensors, and oscilloscopes.
• The candidate will serve as a key point of contact for both internal and external customers, providing technical support and solutions via telephone, email, and on-site visits.
• During the pre-sales phase, the candidate will identify customer needs and guide them toward the optimal solution through technical qualification, including delivering focused presentations and live demonstrations of the equipment.
• Post-sales responsibilities include timely customer support, such as providing instrument familiarization, hands-on training, and ensuring that the delivered test solution is fully optimized to meet customer requirements.
• The role requires participation in ongoing training and a strong personal commitment to maintaining a high level of technical competence across relevant technologies, applications, and products.
• The candidate will be expected to support and mentor peers while contributing to achieving sales targets.
• Additionally, there is an expectation to support the marketing team at exhibitions, events, and seminars.
• The candidate will be part of a broader European team focused on identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships, and expanding the existing customer base
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a reputable institution.
• Strong background in RF and microwave engineering.
• Strong technical experience in the test and measurement field including RF, Signal Integrity analysis and time domain
• Hands-on experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes.
• Strong customer-facing capabilities.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer support with a high level of service awareness.
• Demonstrated self-learning capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• High levels of initiative, motivation, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Valid driving license. Preferred Qualifications
• Customer-facing experience.
• Experience in research institutions, aerospace & defense, or wireless industries.
• Experience in test automation and scripting for test equipment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C++
