Role Mission

At Konnecto, we reject the idea of isolated QA silos. We believe quality is an engineering discipline, not a final check. As our Senior Quality Engineer, you will be the architect of our "Technical Trust." You will lead the "Shift Left" movement within the KO team—designing the frameworks, quality gates, and automated systems that ensure our AI-driven discovery engine is reliable, testable, and accurate by design.

Our platform processes massive volumes of behavioral and marketing data to help global brands understand how consumers discover, research, and evaluate products across the web. As part of the Partnerize global platform, Konnecto is helping shape new ways for brands and publishers to measure influence, attribution, and performance in an increasingly AI-driven, clickless discovery environment.

As our systems grow in scale and complexity, data reliability becomes mission critical. We are investing in building a comprehensive data reliability layer that ensures our data pipelines, algorithms, and insights operate accurately, consistently, and transparently.

This role will focus on designing and building the infrastructure that ensures trust and visibility to our data systems - including validation frameworks, monitoring mechanisms, testing layers, and reliability dashboards that give engineers clear visibility into the health of our data platform.

What You Will Do

• Architect Quality Infrastructure: Design and build a comprehensive data validation and testing framework from the ground up to support our expanding data systems.
• AI & Agentic Validation: Develop specialized methodologies to validate both deterministic data flows and non-deterministic
• AI-driven/agentic outputs.Engineer Quality Gates: Integrate automated validation into Argo workflows and CI/CD pipelines to create "regression detection" mechanisms that guard production environments.
• Data Integrity as Quality: Build validation layers for Snowflake-based calculations and JavaScript-based algorithms to ensure high-accuracy insights for global brands.
• Drive Engineering Standards: Partner with backend engineers to improve system testability and define the "Quality Standards" every developer must meet before code is considered "Done".
• Observability & Monitoring: Design anomaly detection systems and health dashboards that provide real-time visibility into the behavioral health of our data platform.
• Auditability & Compliance: Architect quality systems to produce automated audit trails and evidence logs, ensuring the engineering team remains compliant with SOC-2 (Type 1 & 2) Processing Integrity and Change Management standards.
• Incident Resilience: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for platform quality incidents and oversee the implementation of preventative measures to increase system resilience.
  
  

Your Day-to-Day Work

• Strategic Planning: Defining quality strategies and testable architectures for new features before development begins.
• Technical Implementation: Writing robust validation logic using SQL, JavaScript, and modern testing tools.
• Data Investigation: Analyzing large datasets to detect subtle inconsistencies and establish "ground-truth" for our AI models.
• Global Collaboration: Working with engineers in Tel Aviv and across global Partnerize teams to improve system correctness and reliability.
• Tool Building: Creating internal tools or data quality platforms that empower the broader engineering team to own their own quality.
  
  

Who We Are Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years in backend, data, or platform engineering with a focus on building scalable quality systems.
• Technical Depth: Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL, with experience handling massive volumes of behavioral data.
• Systems Thinking: Deep understanding of data pipelines and distributed systems, specifically how to test "unpredictable" AI behaviors.
• Quality Mindset: A proactive "Shift Left" mentality—you prefer designing systems to prevent bugs rather than hunting for them later.
• Communication: Strong English skills and the ability to influence engineering culture across different time zones.
