CTO for a iGaming company JB-4350

We’re looking for a hands-on, action-oriented CTO to lead and scale the entire technology operation for a group of high-traffic digital platforms in the iGaming and betting industry. This is a strategic and practical leadership role for someone who wants to shape the vision and stay close to execution.

As CTO, you will manage a full-stack engineering team across Backend, Frontend, QA, DevOps, Data, and Infrastructure — overseeing both a legacy product and a new product being built from scratch. You’ll take full ownership of technical architecture, development workflows, QA processes, deployment pipelines, and data operations that support marketing, CRM, and finance teams.

You’ll work with— mainly PHP (Laravel), WordPress, MariaDB, cloud-based VPS environments, and dynamic UI frameworks. The role involves ensuring clean, secure, and efficient code, maintaining robust APIs, optimizing performance for multi-GEO platforms, and integrating real-time event tracking and CRM flows.

This is not a pure management role: you are expected to be involved and hands-on where it matters, guiding the team technically and helping tackle complex challenges directly when needed. You will also mentor and grow the team, starting with ~5–6 engineers and scaling up as the company expands.

Key focus areas include:

• Driving fast, secure, and high-quality delivery across landing pages, mobile-first sites, and interactive widgets.

• Overseeing QA automation, regression testing, and production-ready deployments.

• Managing data warehousing, ETL operations, and real-time analytics pipelines.

• Supervising hosting, uptime, scaling, and DevOps routines to keep platforms stable and responsive.

• Coordinating closely with business, marketing, and affiliate teams to ensure technology enables business growth without blockers.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading full-stack tech teams in high-performance environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with PHP(Laravel) and WordPress development.

• Mandatory: background in the iGaming or betting industry.

• Solid understanding of QA automation, DevOps, cloud/VPS hosting, and data integration.

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive leadership style — you know how to balance strategy and action.
