IT Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a professional IT Procurement Specialist to join the procurement team of our client.

This role involves end-to-end management of procurement processes within the IT domain, including vendor and contract management, in compliance with legal and government regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end IT procurement processes – including software, hardware, cloud, and maintenance services
• Define requirements and prepare RFP/RFQ documents and tender materials
• Operate and manage procurement processes within ERP systems (Priority)
• Manage vendors and contracts: requirements, SLAs, vendor performance reports, and issue resolution
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Legal and Finance teams
• Monitor and enforce contract terms, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards
• Participate in tender committees and evaluation processes

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of proven experience in IT procurement (software, hardware, communications, and professional services)
• At least 3 years of experience working with procurement ERP systems (Priority, SAP, or similar)
• Strong understanding of budgeting, control, and audit documentation (ITGC / ISO)
• Familiarity with public procurement law and government procurement regulations
• Ability to read and draft requirement documents, RFPs, proposals
• Experience working with technology vendors and suppliers
• Strong ability to work both independently and in a team, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience working with legal teams and external consultants
• Ability to understand and analyze technical IT documentation
• Experience in vendor negotiations
