Reliability Engineer – Leading Defense Company (Central Israel)

Position Overview:

A leading defense company in central Israel is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead reliability engineering activities across complex, multidisciplinary technological projects.

The role includes performing reliability and maintainability analyses for advanced systems, preparing engineering reports, deriving insights, and presenting them to senior stakeholders and customers both in Israel and internationally.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality, engineering, and production.

Responsibilities:

• Perform reliability analyses for systems and electronic components
• Conduct reliability calculations including DERATING, FMECA, Testability, and Maintainability analyses
• Lead reliability processes throughout the product lifecycle
• Work with multiple interfaces across the organization and drive engineering processes
• Write technical reports and present insights and conclusions

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronics Engineering – mandatory
• At least 2 years of experience in system reliability analysis – mandatory
• Experience in hardware reliability (not software) – mandatory
• Experience in reliability analysis of electronic components
• Experience with methodologies such as FMECA, DERATING, MTBF
• Experience with reliability analysis tools (e.g., RAM Commander / RELEX / BQR) – advantage
• Strong technical writing skills in English
• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
