Quality Assurance Manager

A leading defense company developing and manufacturing advanced multidisciplinary RF modules is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the company’s quality policy across R&D, manufacturing engineering, NPI (transfer from development to production), operations, and marketing
• Measure and continuously improve quality KPIs while optimizing control processes
• Lead failure investigations, perform root cause analysis, define corrective actions, and track their implementation
• Manage supplier and subcontractor quality in Israel and globally, including in-process inspections, quality events, periodic audits, and continuous improvement processes
• Prepare for and lead external quality audits conducted by customers and/or regulatory bodies
• Oversee and ensure compliance of procedures with the company’s quality policy, including updates and implementation
• Manage the quality team responsible for production, R&D, and NPI quality processes
• Work according to leading standards such as AS9100, MIL-STD-883, IPC 600 / 610 / 6023
• Report to the VP of Operations

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• At least 10 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in a medium-to-large manufacturing company
• Proven experience leading quality policy in compliance with international standards (e.g., automotive, aerospace, etc.)
• Experience in a defense company certified to AS9100 – mandatory
• Experience as a technologist or process engineer in a microelectronics manufacturing environment – advantage
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as soldering, mechanical assemblies, welding, SMT placement, circuits, PCBA, bonding, coatings, machining, etc. – advantage
• Experience with screening and environmental testing processes in manufacturing, including ESS and HASS
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to drive alignment among employees and managers, and manage conflicts across the organization
• High sense of responsibility, precision, ability to multitask, assertiveness, hands-on approach, determination, persistence, system-level thinking, and excellent interpersonal skills
