Data Science Team Lead

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Science Team Lead who wants to make a real impact. This role includes end-to-end responsibility for Machine Learning and Generative AI applications within a complex business ecosystem.

What you will be doing:

• Team Management & Leadership: Directly manage and mentor a team of 4 (3 Data Scientists and 1 Data Engineer), including professional guidance and task prioritization.
• Model Lifecycle Management: Take end-to-end ownership of ML models—from research and development through to deployment.
• Innovation & GenAI: Lead the Generative AI domain within the team, identify business opportunities, and implement solutions based on LLMs and advanced AI technologies.

Requirements:

• Managerial Experience: 2+ years of experience managing a Data Science team or providing significant technological leadership to an analytical team.
• ML Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience developing Machine Learning models (Predictive models, Classification, etc.).
• Deep Understanding of GenAI: In-depth knowledge of the Generative AI landscape, experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), and the ability to apply them to business needs.
• Technical Background: Proven experience working with Python and SQL.
• Finance Background: A significant advantage.
• Soft Skills: Strong systemic vision, creative thinking, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
