The Problem You’ll Solve

Payouts.com is building a global financial operating system for businesses managing vendors, payouts, and financial workflows at scale. We process hundreds of millions in payouts across 180+ countries, but that’s only part of the challenge.

Our financial reality includes:

• Partners, Vendors, Subscriptions, and SaaS billing 
• Accounts Receivable flows - invoicing, collections, reconciliation
• Multi-entity, multi-currency operations across banks, wallets, and providers
• Fragmented financial data across systems

As we scale, finance is no longer a reporting function - it becomes core infrastructure.

We need someone to:

• Design financial logic that works in real-time, not at month-end
• Build/design automated reconciliation systems across all money flows
• Create a single source of truth across payouts, invoices, and balances (NetSuite)
• Embed finance directly into the product and data layer

This role is about turning finance into a system, not a process.

The Role

You’ll take a lead role of the company’s financial infrastructure. This is not a maintenance role. This is a build-and-own role.

What You’ll Do

Financial Infrastructure & Reconciliation 

• Design and own end-to-end reconciliation systems across payouts, collections, and internal balances
• Build logic to reconcile across banks, wallets, payment providers, and internal ledgers
• Handle complexity across entities and activities.
• Ensure accuracy at scale - without manual work

Automation, Data & Systems

• Build automated pipelines for transaction ingestion, validation, and reporting
• Use AI tools to build your own solutions - scripts, integrations, dashboards
• Create real-time visibility into financial data across the company
• Work closely with Builders to embed finance into the product layer

Accounting, AR & Control 

• Own NetSuite as the financial source of truth
• Manage Accounts Receivable: invoicing, collections, revenue tracking
• Oversee subscriptions and SaaS billing flows
• Lead month-end close, reporting, and compliance
• Work with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

• Background as a Controller / Finance Manager / Accountant
• Deep NetSuite expertise (non-negotiable)
• Experience with complex reconciliation environments (fintech, payments, high-volume transactions)
• Strong systems thinking - you design processes, not just execute them
• Hands-on builder mentality - you automate before you operate

Nice-to-Have

• CPA / Big 4 background
• Experience in fintech, payments, or multi-entity environments
• Familiarity with APIs, SQL, or data tools
• Experience using AI tools to automate workflows

Mindset Fit
