AI / Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer (Medical Imaging)

We are looking for talented AI / Computer Vision Engineers to develop advanced image-processing algorithms for next-generation ophthalmic diagnostic devices.

This role focuses on building cutting-edge solutions in medical imaging, including biomarker detection, pixel-level feature extraction, and clinical scoring models that directly support diagnostic decision-making.

About the Role

You will work at the intersection of AI, computer vision, and healthcare, developing algorithms that transform complex visual data into actionable clinical insights. The role involves both research and hands-on development in a highly multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop advanced computer vision algorithms for medical imaging applications
• Design and implement biomarker detection methods for specific clinical use cases
• Build models that support diagnostic and clinical decision-making
• Train and optimize deep learning models (CNNs, Vision Transformers, Autoencoders)
• Work with Python and leading AI frameworks (PyTorch / TensorFlow, OpenCV)
• Collaborate closely with clinical experts, including ophthalmologists
• Integrate models into real-time medical imaging systems and devices
• Contribute to research-driven development and innovation

Requirements

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 2–6 years of experience in Computer Vision / Machine Learning / Deep Learning
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with AI libraries
• Experience with deep learning architectures and model development
• Strong problem-solving skills and research-oriented mindset
• Experience working in multidisciplinary environments
