Algorithm Engineer (RF & Wireless Systems)
A cutting-edge technology company developing advanced RF systems, wireless communication networks, data analytics platforms, and innovative security solutions is looking for an Algorithm Engineer to join a leading team.
About the Role
This role focuses on developing advanced algorithms for wireless communication and protocol analysis, working across complex systems end-to-end — from the RF layer through Baseband.
You will combine classical signal processing (DSP) with advanced AI / Machine Learning techniques in a research-driven engineering environment, with direct impact on real-world products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop algorithms for signal capture, waveform analysis, and demodulation
- Perform protocol analysis and reverse engineering of wireless communication systems
- Develop AI/ML models for spectral analysis, anomaly detection, and signal classification
- Conduct end-to-end simulations and build prototypes to validate theoretical models
- Collaborate closely with RF, Firmware, and System teams to transition research into real-time solutions and production systems
- Contribute to intellectual property (IP) development and technical documentation
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (M.Sc. / Ph.D. – a strong advantage)
- Strong foundation in communication theory, DSP, and wireless protocols
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in wireless communication systems
- Familiarity with standards such as Wi-Fi (802.11), Bluetooth, or LTE/5G
- Strong programming skills in Python and MATLAB
- Experience working with Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms
- Experience or exposure to reverse engineering / cybersecurity – strong advantage
- Background in defense or advanced technology companies – advantage
