At Altius Capital, we’re building a data-driven fintech platform for institutional investors, focused on turning complex data into insights, automation, and AI-driven decision-making.
We’re looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to join us at a critical stage - someone who enjoys building real systems, taking ownership, and leading a small, high-quality engineering team.
What you’ll do:
- Lead a small team of engineers while staying deeply hands-on
- Design and build backend systems and data pipelines from scratch
- Own architecture and key technical decisions
- Work closely with the CEO and product team on shaping the product
- Build and integrate AI-driven capabilities (LLMs, automation, data workflows)
- Drive development standards, code quality, and best practices
What we’re looking for:
- Strong backend experience (Python preferred)
- Proven experience building systems end-to-end
- Previous experience leading or mentoring engineers
- Strong system design and architectural thinking
- Experience or strong interest in AI (LLMs, data-driven systems)
- Someone who enjoys ownership, pace, and impact
