💻 Backend Engineer – Cloud & Event-Driven Systems
We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join an innovative technology team focused on building secure, scalable, and high-performance backend solutions in advanced cloud environments.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, event-driven architecture, and large-scale backend systems.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native backend systems
- Build and enhance API integrations with third-party applications
- Take ownership of microservices architecture, including scalability, networking, security, and data storage optimization
- Develop monitoring, automation, and performance tools to ensure production stability
- Design and implement large-scale data pipelines and analytics solutions
- Lead projects end-to-end from design through deployment and maintenance
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams
- Build solutions with a strong customer-first mindset
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer
- Strong experience building scalable backend systems
- Expertise in event-driven architecture and microservices
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Experience working in containerized environments
- Familiarity with messaging and queue systems such as Kafka / RabbitMQ / SQS
- Strong understanding of security best practices
- Advantage: experience with Python, TypeScript, CI/CD, Terraform
