System Administrator

The company provides mission-critical identity verification solutions for a global client base, with a strong focus on the American and European markets. Operating as a stable yet innovative organization, it maintains its core engineering and IT infrastructure hub in Israel.

Located in central Tel Aviv with immediate access to the Light Rail, the company offers a premium professional environment and a hybrid work model (1 day WFH).

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Orchestration: Managing and supporting mission-critical environments based on VMware and Windows Server, with a focus on maximum uptime and system integrity.
• Core Services Management: Owning the administration of Active Directory, Networking, Firewalls, and Load Balancers across on-premise and cloud ecosystems.
• Business Continuity: Implementing and managing enterprise-grade backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam) and sophisticated storage systems.
• Server Administration: Hands-on management of Windows Server environments, including IIS, RDP, patch management, and Failover Clustering (WSFC).
• Physical & Virtual Deployment: Leading the design, installation, and maintenance of physical IT infrastructure, including servers, networking hardware, and storage arrays.
• Cloud Integration: Supporting and expanding the company’s cloud presence (AWS or Azure), bridging the gap between traditional infrastructure and modern cloud-native solutions.
• Operational Excellence: Driving continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and infrastructure resilience.

Requirements

• Professional Seniority: At least 5 years of experience as a System Administrator in an enterprise-scale environment – Mandatory.
• Virtualization & Storage Mastery: Proven experience with VMware, enterprise storage solutions, and data protection/recovery frameworks (e.g., Veeam) – Mandatory.
• Windows Expert: Deep hands-on proficiency with Windows Server services, including IIS, RDP, and event log analysis – Mandatory.
• Clustering Expertise: Practical experience with Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) – Mandatory.
• Hands-on Infrastructure: Proven experience in building and installing physical IT hardware (servers, racks, networking equipment).
• Cloud Proficiency: Professional familiarity with AWS or Azure environments.
• Communication: High-level English proficiency, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global technical teams and international stakeholders – Mandatory.
• Network Foundation: Solid understanding of networking protocols, security firewalls, and load balancing.
