Senior Hands-on Technology Lead – Core Product Modernization

We are looking for a Senior Hands-on Technology Lead to drive the transformation of a long-standing, business-critical product suite into a modern, scalable, and high-performing platform.

This role combines deep ownership of system design, modernization of legacy environments, and hands-on execution, with direct impact on product delivery speed, business scalability, and company growth.

• Lead the end-to-end transformation of a mission-critical product suite from legacy systems to a modern, scalable platform while ensuring business continuity and faster delivery cycles.
• Drive migration from legacy technologies such as ASP / ASP.NET / VB6 to a modern Microsoft .NET ecosystem (.NET 9) with React.
• Own the cross-platform technical direction of ERP, POS, Mobile, and API products.
• Design and build scalable solutions for multi-user, high-volume transactional systems.
• Optimize performance in Microsoft SQL Server, including Stored Procedures, data design, and query tuning.
• Lead decomposition of legacy DLL-based components and convert business logic into modern services.
• Establish advanced engineering practices, CI/CD pipelines, and development excellence standards.
• Introduce AI tools and agents to improve productivity, code generation, and SDLC efficiency.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across development teams.

• 8+ years of software development experience in product companies (preferably ERP environments).
• Strong background working in On-Prem environments – mandatory.
• Proven experience in senior technical leadership roles such as Principal Engineer / Tech Lead / Senior Technical Lead.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft .NET / C# / backend systems design.
• Strong frontend experience with modern frameworks, especially React.
• Proven experience leading complex legacy modernization initiatives.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience designing modern APIs and migrating legacy integrations (SOAP/XML → REST).
• Ability to combine hands-on delivery with broad system-level thinking.

• Experience with AI coding tools / AI agents / GitHub Copilot / Cursor / SDLC automation.
• Experience in ERP / Retail / POS products.
