Bookkeeper

One of our clients, a fast-growing technology startup, is looking to hire an experienced AP/AR Bookkeeper to join their accounting team.

About the Role:

In this position, you will take full ownership of the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full AP cycle: vendor onboarding, tax documentation collection, invoice processing, and payment execution
• Oversee AR processes: invoice generation and proactive collection management
• Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes in collaboration with the finance team lead
• Maintain accurate and audit-ready financial records using accounting systems
• Handle US bookkeeping tasks, including 1099 collection and ACH payments
• Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in AP/AR bookkeeping
• Strong hands-on experience with Priority and QuickBooks (NetSuite – an advantage)
• Advanced Excel skills (mandatory)
• Proven experience working with Israeli tax regulations and reporting requirements
• Familiarity with financial tools such as Mesh, Dokka, and Bill
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Advantage: experience with US sales tax
