About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Gen-AI Applied Researcher to lead the development of cutting-edge generative AI technologies, with a strong emphasis on real-world applications and customer impact. In this role, you will leverage state-of-the-art techniques and large-scale datasets to advance capabilities in text-to-image/video generation, video synthesis, and advanced editing. Your work will be tightly integrated with customer product & R&D teams, ensuring that the models and pipelines you build are not only technically sophisticated but also practical, commercially meaningful, and aligned with real customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative generative AI workflows that meet customer needs and business goals, including text-to-image generation, video synthesis, and advanced editing tools.
• Solve real-world GenAI use cases and deliver tailored solutions to clients who are not yet as part of Bria core product
• Conduct hands-on development, model adaptation, and optimization for specific customer need
• Lead customer-facing GenAI implementations, bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and practical deployment
• Collaborate directly with customers to deeply understand their challenges and deliver measurable value
• Design the implementation plans to be coordinated with the sales and solutioning team

Requirements:

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with first-author publications at top AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, ECCV, SIGGRAPH).
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing and debugging Python codebases.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in training, evaluating, and deploying visual GenAI models.
• Proven expertise in image and video data representations, processing, and synthesis.
• Strong understanding of state-of-the-art generative models (e.g., diffusion models, GANs, VAEs, and transformers) and their applications in image and video tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present and discuss technical concepts.
• Outbound experience with external customers - Advantage
