Senior Product Manager - AI Search

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead Nimble’s AI Search offering - a strategic product at the core of our next phase of growth.

Nimble is building an AI-native search capability designed for developers and AI systems, a core retrieval layer powering LLMs and agents.

This role will define how Nimble competes in the emerging category of AI-native search APIs, shaping both the product strategy and execution of a critical company focus.

You will own the vision and roadmap for AI Search, working at the intersection of:

• Retrieval and ranking systems
• Developer APIs
• Real-world AI use cases and constraints (latency, cost, reliability)

This is a high-impact role with strong influence across Product, Engineering, Data, and Go-to-Market.

• Own the strategy and roadmap for Nimble’s AI Search product, defining where we play and how we win in a fast-evolving market
• Translate market understanding and product vision into clear, focused execution plans, driving initiatives from discovery through delivery and iteration
• Deeply understand developer and AI system needs, and build a search product that is reliable, high-quality, and easy to integrate
• Work closely with Engineering and Data teams on retrieval, ranking, and indexing systems, making informed tradeoffs across quality, latency, and cost
• Lead complex, cross-team initiatives, making strong prioritization decisions in a resource-constrained environment
• Define and track core product metrics (e.g., relevance, coverage, latency, adoption), using data to continuously improve outcomes
• Partner with Go-to-Market teams to shape positioning, messaging, and developer adoption
• Balance short-term delivery with long-term product and system thinking in a rapidly evolving AI landscape

• 6+ years of Product Management experience, owning complex, technical AI products
• Strong ability to craft product strategy, especially in ambiguous and emerging spaces, and drive it through execution
• Experience building or working on developer-facing products or APIs, with a deep understanding of developer needs and workflows
• Familiarity with search, data, or AI systems (e.g., retrieval, ranking, RAG, LLM-based products)
• Ability to make clear tradeoffs across quality, latency, cost, and complexity
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset - comfortable defining KPIs and using data to guide decisions
• Experience working closely with engineers on system-level problems, understanding architecture and technical constraints
• Comfortable operating in a startup environment - high ownership, fast-paced, and ambiguity
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ownership mentality with a strong focus on impact and outcomes
