Founding Full-Stack Engineer

AI Light is looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Engineer to join as one of the first technical hires and help build our multimodal trust layer from the ground up. This role is for someone highly adaptable who enjoys solving real problems across the stack and isn’t afraid to dive into unfamiliar territory when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and own end-to-end product features across backend, frontend, and infrastructure

Work closely with founders, AI, and product teams to turn ideas into production systems

Design, develop, and scale APIs, services, and data pipelines

Take ownership over whatever is needed – backend, frontend, DevOps, databases, integrations

Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability

Help shape engineering culture, standards, and best practices

Requirements:

6+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in small startups

Strong backend development experience (APIs, services, systems design)

Willingness and ability to work across the full stack (frontend, DevOps, databases, etc.)

Experience building and shipping production systems end-to-end

Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Strong problem-solving skills and a “figure it out” mindset

Nice to Have:

Experience with AI/ML products or data-heavy systems

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines

Background in security, fraud detection, or media systems
