The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior ML Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on engineering scalable machine learning systems and building robust, production-ready ML solutions, with a strong emphasis on system performance, model deployment, and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate is comfortable building and optimizing ML pipelines, designing experiments at scale, developing production-grade predictive models, and implementing solutions clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role suits someone who is proactive, engineering-minded, and can work independently.

What You’ll Do

Systems & Modeling: Lead end-to-end development and deployment of machine learning models, from problem framing and feature engineering through to production-level implementation, monitoring, and maintenance.

• Pipeline & Infrastructure Collaboration: Drive the design of complex ML systems and work closely with engineers to define and build automated data and training pipelines that power model development.
• Benchmarking & Production Evaluation: Design and maintain robust evaluation frameworks in production, providing data-driven insights that inform architectural trade-offs, scalability decisions, and vendor selection.
• Structured Experimentation: Hypothesize, design, implement, and measure experiments to identify optimal model serving architectures and generate actionable system optimization steps.
• Technical Point of Contact: Serve as the ML Engineering lead on projects, engaging directly with customers’ R&D and Engineering teams, translating their business requirements into well-defined technical ML architectures and driving tangible impact.
• Project Delivery Oriented: Hold a deep sense of accountability for your deployed systems, their quality, and timely delivery. Own the design, planning, and execution of the ML engineering workstreams.

Qualifications

Master’s in Computer Science, ML Engineering, Data Science, or similar experience.

• Strong foundation in machine learning, and model lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in designing and running structured experiments, including model performance testing and latency evaluation.
• Hands-on experience with supervised and unsupervised learning across a range of problem types (classification, regression, clustering, time-series, etc.).
• Experience deploying and monitoring LLMs and GenAI techniques as production-ready services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of translating complex technical architectures into clear, actionable narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong programming skills in Python, focusing on production-grade code and the data science stack (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.).
• Comfort working with and querying large datasets using SQL or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a healthy skepticism toward system limitations.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work independently, proactively own outcomes, and contribute effectively as part of a small, close-knit team.
