Who we are looking for

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic mechanical engineer, with a hands-on approach, to join our R&D team.

The role involves the research and development of robotic mechanisms incorporating motors, gears and sensors, from concept to mass production.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex robotic mechanisms and assemblies from concept through production.
• Lead mechanical development activities across the full product lifecycle, including concept generation, detailed design, prototyping, drawing release, manufacturing support, integration and verification.
• Define and execute test and validation methodologies to confirm design performance and compliance with engineering requirements.
• Generate and maintain high-quality engineering documentation, including requirements, calculations, design reviews, protocols, reports, and change orders.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including systems engineering, software, electronics, manufacturing, quality, and operations.
• Manage technical interactions with suppliers and support component sourcing, qualification, and manufacturability activities.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5+ years of experience in robotics/automation field.
• Demonstrated experience in the design of robotic mechanisms incorporating motors, sensors, bearing systems, and high-precision components.
• Experience in medical device development — advantage.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, including complex assemblies and detailed drawings.
• Experience performing finite element analysis (FEA).
• Experience working with PLM systems and ECO/ECN processes.
• Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles — advantage.
• Strong technical problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic development environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and execution.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Independent learner with a proactive mindset.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English.
