About the Role

We're looking for a Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer to take meaningful ownership across the entire stack — from crafting polished frontend experiences to architecting reliable backend services and data pipelines. You'll work across a modern cloud stack (GCP, GKE, Node.js, Python, TypeScript) and be expected to move fluidly between layers of the product. Equally important: you're someone who embraces AI-assisted development as a core part of how you work — using tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude to code smarter and ship faster.

What You'll Do

• Build and own features across the full stack — React/TypeScript frontends, Node.js/Python backends, and the APIs that connect them.
• Design and implement scalable backend services and data pipelines, from architecture to production.
• Develop intuitive, performant UI components that translate complex data into clear user experiences.
• Lead feature development end-to-end: technical design, implementation, testing, and rollout.
• Collaborate with product, data, and design teams to ship well-integrated, high-quality solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute meaningfully to technical decision-making.
• Leverage AI coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Drive engineering best practices through thorough code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and technical debt.
• Mentor junior developers and help raise the bar across the team.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience with a strong command of Node.js, Python, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred).
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable, production-grade systems, APIs, and UI features.
• Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Redis) — including query optimization and schema design.
• Meaningful exposure to cloud infrastructure, ideally GCP — familiarity with GKE, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, or similar services.
• Confident and productive user of AI development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) — you use them as a daily force multiplier, not an occasional experiment.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles: microservices, event-driven design, and distributed systems.
• Solid grasp of frontend fundamentals: component architecture, state management, performance optimization, and responsive design.
• Confident in CI/CD workflows, Git best practices, and collaborative development processes.
• Sharp problem-solving instincts: able to break down ambiguous problems and deliver pragmatic, well-considered solutions.
• Clear, direct communicator who thrives in cross-functional environments and adapts well to shifting priorities.

Bonus Points

• Experience with data pipelines, ETL systems, or working alongside data engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
• Experience building internal tools, dashboards, or data visualization products.
• Background in content, media, or commerce tech.
