IT Manager

A prestigious, publicly traded Global Medical Electronics firm dedicated to developing life-saving technologies for cancer treatment.

The company operates at the intersection of advanced engineering and healthcare, with its central innovation and R&D hub located in Israel.

Responsibilities-

• Operational Leadership: Managing daily IT operations for the Israeli R&D site, ensuring seamless technological continuity for hundreds of employees.
• Team Management: Leading, mentoring, and professionalizing the local IT support staff to maintain high service standards.
• Compliance & Governance: Implementing and overseeing IT General Controls (ITGC) to ensure alignment with global corporate standards.
• Global Coordination: Acting as the primary liaison with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and global IT stakeholders to synchronize technology rollouts.
• Security & Regulation: Ensuring site compliance with international standards and data privacy regulations, including ISO, HIPAA, GDPR, and SOX.
• Problem Management: Identifying, resolving, or escalating complex technical issues in a high-stakes, multidisciplinary environment.

Requirements-

• Academic/Technical Foundation: B.Sc. in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering, OR equivalent professional certifications and experience – Mandatory.
• Professional Seniority: At least 3 years of experience in systems management, IT leadership, or complex technical project management – Mandatory.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of ITGC and familiarity with international security standards (ISO, HIPAA, GDPR, SOX) – Mandatory.
• Service Excellence: A proven customer-service orientation within a fast-paced, high-tech corporate environment.
• Technical Communication: Superior ability to document, present, and communicate technical problem statements and solutions clearly in English and Hebrew.
