Technical Lead - Core AI

The company provides a mission-critical governance layer that manages access, enforces real-time security policies, and orchestrates automated responses within GenAI ecosystems.

Located in a prime technology hub with immediate train access, the company offers a high-intensity startup culture with a hybrid work model (1 day WFH).

Responsibilities

• Engineering Leadership: Managing a talented, distributed team of six developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, rapid delivery, and professional growth.
• Hands-on Contribution: Maintaining a 20-30% Hands-on presence, designing and implementing core backend services in Python or Java.
• AI/ML Architecture: Architecting and overseeing the integration of advanced AI components, including RAG architectures, Vector Databases, and LLM-based agent frameworks.
• Agile Orchestration: Leading full-cycle development processes, including sprint management and Agile methodologies, to ensure rapid iteration in a dynamic market.
• Strategic Technical Influence: Collaborating closely with the founders to shape the technological roadmap and the future of enterprise AI security.

Requirements-

• 3 years of proven experience in leading engineering teams within a high-tech/startup environment – Mandatory.
• Strong development background in Python or Java, with experience building scalable, distributed systems – Mandatory.
• Deep familiarity with the modern AI stack: LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Vector Databases, RAG architectures, and agent frameworks – Mandatory.
• Proven track record in managing Sprints and implementing Agile methodologies.
