Embedded Testing Engineer

Real Time Group, LTD is looking for a skilled Embedded Testing Engineer. In this role, you’ll design and execute automated and manual tests for complex embedded hardware, ensuring high performance, reliability, and compliance with defense standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test systems (ATE) for embedded platforms.

• Write test scripts in Python (ATEasy/LabVIEW – advantage).

• Perform hardware bring-up, validation, and system-level testing.

• Interface with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.)

• Create test documentation (plans, procedures, reports).

• Collaborate with HW/FW teams on debugging and root-cause analysis.

• Support integration and protocol testing (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet).

Minimum Requirements:

✔ B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering.

✔ 5+ years of experience with Python scripting for test automation.

✔ 5+ years of hands-on experience with embedded systems testing (board & system level).

✔ Experience with lab equipment and communication protocols.

✔ Ability to read schematics and debug hardware.

Advantages:

Experience with ATeasy / LabVIEW.

Background in defense/aerospace or regulated environments.

Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and test management tools.
