A large and well-established company is looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to join the finance team for a maternity leave replacement. This is a great opportunity to take part in core financial processes within a dynamic and professional environment.

📍 Location: Rosh HaAyin, Israel (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of the company’s annual financial statements and work closely with external auditors

• Prepare annual tax reports and manage ongoing tax matters מול external tax advisors

• Monitor and control monthly balance sheet reconciliations

• Review and approve revenue recognition entries for large and complex projects, in accordance with accounting standards and company policies

• Manage the monthly financial closing process and reporting to global HQ, including preparation of financial reports for management

• Handle fixed assets accounting, including IFRS 16

• Gain in-depth involvement in key financial processes and work cross-functionally to ensure strong financial controls

• Prepare reports to the Bank of Israel and the Central Bureau of Statistics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting – required

• Internship and experience from a Big 4 accounting firm – advantage

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role – advantage

• Experience working with SAP or a similar ERP system – advantage

• Full professional proficiency in English – required
