Full Stack Engineer

At Axia Security, we are revolutionizing data security with an AI-driven platform that empowers organizations with unprecedented control over their sensitive data. We combine machine learning and large language models with deep security engineering expertise to deliver context-aware protection at enterprise scale. We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join us during a pivotal growth phase.

In this role, you will own the architecture and implementation of the application layer of our intelligent data protection platform. This is a high-ownership position. You will work directly with the founders, AI engineers, and security architects to shape product and architectural decisions from day one.

What you'll do

• Build and own the application security teams use daily, from the case triage interface to the AI analysis views to the analytics dashboards, full stack.
• Design and develop robust backend APIs and services powering the application layer.
• Build intuitive, high-performance dashboards that surface AI decisions and system insights.
• Build real-time workflows and event-driven architectures to process and display AI security decisions.
• Develop management tools for policy tuning and exception handling.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and enterprise-grade audit logging.
• Optimize performance across the stack, including large-scale React applications.
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers to visualize model performance and decision transparency.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience (or equivalent impact in prior roles) building reduction web applications.
• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript for building modern, responsive, data-heavy interfaces.
• Experience with design systems and building scalable UI architectures.
• Experience with performance optimization in large React applications.
• Backend proficiency with Node.js (NestJS, Express, or similar frameworks).
• Strong experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience building real-time dashboards and complex data visualization interfaces.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs.
• Ability to design intuitive interfaces for complex workflows and decision systems.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proficient with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot).

Nice to have

• Experience with Python for building services and APIs.
• Experience building observability, monitoring, or analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts or security tools.
• Experience with data visualization libraries (Recharts, D3.js, Plotly).
• Experience with message queues (Redis, RabbitMQ, BullMQ, Kafka) for asynchronous processing.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Background working on enterprise SaaS or B2B products.
• Experience building analytics dashboards with drill-down capabilities.
• Experience building applications that provide visibility into AI systems.
