Back End Engineer

Responsibilities

• High-Scale Backend Engineering: Designing and implementing robust, data-intensive services primarily in Python (FastAPI).
• Distributed Systems Architecture: Orchestrating complex Microservices over Kubernetes and AWS, ensuring high availability and system resilience.
• Security-Centric Development: Building real-time monitoring and response systems capable of detecting and mitigating sophisticated cyber-attacks on blockchain protocols.
• Data & Performance Optimization: Managing and optimizing large-scale data flows using PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
• End-to-End Ownership: Leading features from architectural design to production, maintaining the highest standards of code quality and security best practices.

Requirements

• Technical Seniority: At least 4 years of experience in Backend or Full-Stack development with a definitive Backend focus – Mandatory.
• Python Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Python within modern, high-scale production environments – Mandatory.
• Modern High-Tech Background: Proven experience in top-tier product companies (startups or unicorns); no legacy or outsourcing environments.
• Core Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and AWS – Mandatory.
• Engineering Pedigree: Alumni of an elite IDF technological unit (e.g., 81, 8200, or specialized intelligence centers) – Significant Advantage.
• Domain Experience: Prior exposure to Cybersecurity, Blockchain, or Data-driven platforms – Significant Advantage.
