Simulation & Algorithms Engineer (RF Communications)

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Simulation & Algorithms Engineer to join our Engineering & Systems group within the Missile & Space Systems Division.

In this role, you will take part in the end-to-end development of advanced communication algorithms, from concept and modeling to implementation and performance analysis in complex environments.

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge RF communication technologies and contribute to innovative, large-scale engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms and simulations for RF communication modems
• Define and implement waveforms, digital coding, and communication protocols
• Design timing, frequency, and synchronization estimators
• Analyze system performance under noise, attenuation, Doppler effects, and high mobility scenarios
• Work with industry standards and methods such as DVB-S2, CCSDS, LDPC, BCH, Reed-Solomon, Viterbi
• Develop and evaluate advanced communication techniques including:
• CDMA, OFDM, TDMA, Frequency Hopping, MIMO/MISO
• Support and guide hardware and FPGA implementation of algorithms
• Write technical documentation and present engineering findings

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering – חובה
• 5+ years of experience in RF communication modem algorithms
• Strong proficiency in C and MATLAB – חובה
• Experience in simulation development – significant advantage

Nice to Have

• Experience with C++ and Simulink
• Background in statistics and signal processing
