System Director Manager

What You’ll Do

• Lead & Mentor: Manage a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth.
• Strategic Oversight: Develop and execute the roadmap for advanced optical systems, aligning with global organizational goals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with VLSI, Analog, Firmware, and Algorithm teams to ensure seamless integration of DSP Chip solutions.
• Technical Excellence: Oversee the full lifecycle of PCB design, testing, and validation for optical DSP systems.
• Hands-on Innovation: Drive lab activities, from prototype assembly to final product validation using high-end equipment (AWG, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.).
• Project Management: Own the timelines, budgets, and documentation (specifications, test plans) for complex system deliveries.

Who You Are

• An Expert: You have 10+ years of experience in Optical Communications and Digital Signal Processing.
• A Proven Leader: You have a track record of managing engineering teams and delivering successful DSP chip systems.
• Technically Versatile: You understand the "big picture" (OIF/IEEE standards) but aren't afraid to dive into the details of RTL, FW, or Analog-Mixed-Signal integration.
• Problem Solver: You possess deep knowledge of coherent optical systems, modulation/demodulation, equalization, and FEC.
• Communicator: You can translate complex technical concepts into clear updates for stakeholders and customers alike.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (focus on Signal Processing/Optical Comm).
• Coding & Tools: Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++. Experience with PCB design software and PI/SI tools.
• Lab Savvy: Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and hardware validation.
• Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with OIF, IEEE, and ITU specifications.
