Responsibilities-

• Team Leadership: Managing a global backend team, providing technical mentorship, and fostering an elite engineering culture.
• Hybrid Impact: Balancing strategic leadership with a ~50% Hands-on presence, driving the development of complex, distributed SaaS systems.
• Architecture & Design: Leading the architectural vision and design of scalable backend infrastructures using Kotlin and Java.
• AI-First Engineering: Pioneering the use of AI-assisted development tools to enhance code quality, optimize velocity, and stay ahead of the technological curve.
• Strategic Ownership: Overseeing the full lifecycle of high-scale Microservices, ensuring the platform remains resilient and performant under global demand.

Requirements-

• Management Pedigree: Significant experience in leading engineering teams within a product-oriented environment – Mandatory.
• Technical Mastery: Deep-rooted background in Backend development, with expert-level proficiency in the Java/Kotlin ecosystem – Mandatory.
• SaaS & Cloud Expertise: Proven track record in building and scaling complex SaaS platforms over modern Cloud infrastructures – Mandatory.
• AI-Assisted Development: Hands-on experience integrating AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) into the R&D workflow – Mandatory.
• Distributed Systems: Strong architectural understanding of Microservices and high-scale system design.
• Professional DNA: Experience from high-caliber technology companies, demonstrating the ability to lead both people and complex technical roadmaps.
