We’re looking for a hands-on Manual SQA Engineer who thrives on complexity, takes ownership, and enjoys working where software, hardware, and systems all collide.

What you’ll be testing

This role goes far beyond clicking through test cases.

You will:

• Design and execute detailed manual test cases based on real system requirements
• Test software and firmware on complex avionic systems
• Work hands-on with multidisciplinary platforms (SW, HW, comms, sensors)
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through full resolution
• Analyze logs, investigate failures, and perform root-cause analysis
• Lead QA activities independently — with real ownership and accountability
• Collaborate closely with developers and system engineers to deeply understand system architecture and behavior

• Have 3+ years of manual software testing experience
• Have tested avionic, robotic, or other complex systems
• Know how to test multidisciplinary systems end-to-end
• Are comfortable debugging issues across SW, FW, and system boundaries
• Care deeply about detail, structure, and clear documentation
• Take ownership and push issues until they’re truly solved
• Communicate clearly and work well in cross-functional teams

What you bring to the table

• Solid understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and tools
• Experience writing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scenarios
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for finding the “unknown unknowns”
• SQA certification or equivalent professional background

Bonus points if you have

• Hands-on experience with embedded or low-level testing
• Familiarity with communication protocols
• Experience with Jira, Zephyr Scale, or similar test management tools
