Staff Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer (Multi-Cloud, GCP) – Keewano

We are building KeewanoDB and Keewano AI Agent — a next-generation data and agent platform designed for real-time, AI-driven systems at scale.

We are looking for a Staff Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer to own and build the production infrastructure layer across our entire platform. This role goes beyond traditional DevOps — you will design and implement infrastructure systems in code, including core services such as authentication, encryption, and internal platform tooling.

Our stack is primarily GCP, with plans for multi-cloud (AWS, Azure) deployment.

• Design and build cloud infrastructure for KeewanoDB and the AI platform (primarily GCP, expanding to AWS/Azure)
• Develop infrastructure services in code (authentication, encryption, internal platform services) using Python, Go, or TypeScript
• Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, build systems, release pipelines)
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar)
• Design and operate Kubernetes (K8s) environments for high-scale, distributed systems
• Build and maintain observability systems (monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting)
• Ensure security best practices across infrastructure (secrets management, IAM, encryption)
• Optimize system reliability, scalability, and performance across environments
• Work closely with backend, database, and AI teams to support production workloads

• 8–10+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Strong experience with GCP (primary), plus familiarity with AWS and/or Azure
• Proven experience building production-grade infrastructure systems, not just pipelines
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript
• Deep experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and containerized environments
• Strong experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions or similar)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems
• Experience with monitoring and observability stacks

• Experience building internal platform tooling or developer infrastructure
• Experience with database infrastructure and stateful distributed systems
• Familiarity with multi-cloud architectures and cross-cloud deployment strategies
• Experience with SonarQube or similar code quality/security tools
• Background in high-scale production environments

• Own and build the infrastructure foundation of a next-generation data + AI platform
• Work on deep infrastructure problems, not just pipelines
• Operate across multi-cloud environments with real scale challenges
• Collaborate closely with systems, AI, and backend teams
• Have direct impact on reliability, security, and performance from day one
