Harness Design Engineer

We are looking for a talented and experienced Electrical Integration & Harness Design Engineer to join a leading defense organization. In this role, you will lead the design and integration of complex cabling and power distribution solutions. You will work at the heart of multidisciplinary projects, collaborating closely with Hardware, Systems, and Mechanical engineering teams to bring cutting-edge technology from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design complex wiring systems and cable assemblies, ensuring seamless connectivity between hardware components.
• Manage the Product, including data extraction and planning for mass production (NPI).
• Interface daily with Systems, Mechanical, and Manufacturing engineers to provide holistic technological solutions.
• Create high-level specifications, drawings, and presentations for design reviews (PDR/CDR) using tools like Harness, Visio, and SAP.
• Perform lab and field integration, ensuring power requirements and I/O interfaces are perfectly synchronized.

Requirements:

• Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Practical Engineer (הנדסאי) in Electricity/Electronics – Mandatory.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the Defense/Military industry or a significant technological military background (Atuda/Elite Units) – Mandatory.
• Technical Expertise: Proven background in Harness Design, electrical integration, mechanical packaging, and power distribution systems – Mandatory.
• Skills & Tools: Proficiency in reading electrical and mechanical schematics. Experience with Harness design software and SAP – Strong Advantage.
• Certifications: Licensed Electrician (חשמלאי מוסמך) – Significant Advantage.
• Soft Skills: A systemic thinker, creative problem solver, and a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
